Did Sallu baba`s herogiri leave Aishwarya Rai with any other option apart from keeping a bodyguard as well-built as the guy himself? Nope, not really, because Sallu has been playing the intruder whenever he can and also messing around during Aish`s shoots which is not helping the latter in any possible way obviously. The actress, who has only recently been acknowledged as a good actress (and not as a good looking non-actress) after her role of Paro in Sanjay Leela Bhansali`s `Mughal-e-Azam Revisited`, oops, `Devdas`, would like to make the most of the industry`s new awareness that she can be expected to pull off substantial roles with a fair degree of ease.
But that cannot happen if Sallu continues to play the role of a spurned lover and tampers with her peace of mind ? and the schedules of producers? By doing what he wants. And, whenever he does. So, Prabhakar, who we hear is the new man in Aishwarya`s life. Prabhakar, who? Ah ha, he is not an upcoming actor but a bodyguard who accompanies Ash wherever she goes to make sure that the unwanted does not happen while she is at work. The guy keeps an eye on people who might wish to meet Aish: and also makes sure that Sallu baba does not create unnecessary nuisance. Good for Ash, although one wonders why she had not thought of this option earlier. It might have prevented her from getting into problems, and getting media coverage for the wrong reasons.
As for Prabhakar, we also hear that the guy resembles Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh quite a bit. If that is true, it is possible that the fellow might find some admirers on the sets where he and Ash go together: especially among that cricket-loving crowd which believes that Yuvraj is, oh, so cute!
